The Droneballs cage is a uniquely completely round carbon fibre structure. The drone battery can  be hot swapped by putting your hands through the cage bars. The cage can be made approximately 50 % smaller for cheaper shipping as well as protecting the cage from being crushed or damaged in transit.

Collision Tolerant Smart Cage

Concentrate on your task without the worry of LOSING CONTROL.

Unique 360 axis rotating thrust bearing cage system which enables smooth change of direction of a fixed cage Drone for easier pilot control and the crash tolerance/balance advantages of a uncoupled cage Drone for the ultimate collision stability. This high tech cage is completely decoupled from the drone meaning it can spin and react instantly to any contact in any direction without locking. This keeps the drone super stable during contacts in cluttered environments.  The 360 rolling cage keeps you fixed on your target area and the cage keeps the camera lens a set distance away from your target ensuring it is always in focus. Roll spin and maneuver against walls and objects to get the perfect close up shot. Land and rotate the drone independently from the cage, or use as a ground Robot to massively extend the run time, that will roll in any direction and always stay upright no matter what the terrain. Droneball 360 exceptional ability allows you to concentrate on your task at hand and record the data without the worry of crashing or becoming unstable.

2-Modular construction.

Both the cage and Drone have been built with a modular construction to aid with the repair/ replacement of parts in the field. Each half of the cage is made in one mold out of carbon fibre and Kevlar producing a very high strength lightweight structure. 

Thrust bearing technology developed by Imaze is more stable and easier to pilot than other 1 axis or 3 axis bearing caged drones and 360 axis rotation totally decouples the drone from the protective outer frame with no lock points keeping it more stable when collisions occur in tight obstacle rich environments.

Normal quad copters will crash when their rotors crash into a wall or structure, this unique drone is protected by a strong-globular cage that can freely revolve around the drone in any direction. This helps to fly the drone in difficult to navigate or close proximity areas, and ensures a successful job capturing data and infrastructure condition information.
